Delivering empty is an win-win for Fiverr - they get the money and they don’t spend any bandwidth on me or my clients. Better than just submitting some dummy file, cluttering Fiverr’s servers, FOR NO REASON AT ALL. All I’m doing is saving Fiverr bandwidth.
If you are an honest seller delivering empty for a GOOD reason, Fiverr will not care AT ALL. I do my work, I make Fiverr money, I am happy, clients are happy, Fiverr is happy. I also know that they are out of touch with the realities of working in certain fields (namely video editing).

It’s not my fault that the size limit through Fiverr is a ridiculous 150 mb. I deliver through wetransfer a lot, and I just send a message with no files through Fiverr. So if you want to send a dropbox link with your work (please avoid sending anything else via dropbox except your delivered work - no contact info please, and no spam), then you also have to attach that work in the delivery message as well to prevent getting a warning from Fiverr for sending an empty delivery. If you deliver with no attachment of your work but just a dropbox link, that is not allowed since it can be considered a way of circumventing Fiverr’s verification system in case of disputes (the only times it is allowed to send dropbox links without attachments in the delivery message is when Fiverr has technical issues and the upload process doesn’t work) They are allowed only if you also attach your work in the delivery box.
